So I have been wanting to go green for a while, but when I started going through the different methods of lesseining my carbon footprint, the first thing I noticed was how much more expensive things are that the mass media market calls “eco- friendly” than your regular Palmolive dish soap.
However, you always hear how going green will save you tons of money, but I am seeing things that are twice as much as what I am paying for conventional. Whats a girl to do in this situation? My plan of action? Its simple, Im going to find cost cutting ways to go green; whether its creating my own concoction for cleaning products for my home, or if its a new form of organic gardening. Either way, my family is going to become alot healthier by the end of the year.
Can this be done? Sure it can, it will take a bit of work to find everything that we need that is cost friendly and eco friendly at the same time. I will be giving everyone updates to my findings which will help everyone reduce their carbon footprint in the end.
If you have ideas to share, then feel free to drop me a suggestion or ask a question. I will do my best to answer them in a timely fashion . Anyhow, off to do my researching.
